TOTAL BODY WARM UP BEFORE EXERCISE

A few gentle warm-up exercises make your workout more effective and also prevent injury. Warm up before working out is essential to balance our body’s flow in the right manner so that we can exhort it to the maximum extent. Warm up exercises will help you to raise your heart rate, your body temp, get fluid moving around your joints and thus make you ready for a better, safer workout.

Let’s peek into quick 5 minutes warm-up exercises. With no rest in between.

  1. JUMPING JACKS

Jumping Jacks can be a great move to include in our warm up routines, even simply as active rest. The Jumping Jack is one of those basic bodyweight warm up moves that many of us forget it in search of the new best warm up to help us burn fat and get our sweat on.

2) CROSS JACKS

Cross Jacks, It’s a great way to warm up before your usual workout routine. Do this exercise for a minute and rest for 30 seconds in between for a total of 5 reps or until you feel fatigue.

3) JUMPING ROPE

4) GLUTE BRIDGE

The Glute Bridge is one of the best movements to stretch your hips, activate your glutes and give you a stronger and beautiful butt all while also helping to prevent and alleviate low back pain.

5) TOE TOUCH

For the toe touch, you have to start the position by using counts to help along the way. On one, you have to hit a high V, on two have to hold, on three you are going to swing with your legs bent. On four, jump off the ground hitting a T motion bringing our legs up. On five, you have to be in this position, you have to hold on six and on seven, you are going to stand. So, let’s do the toe touch to counts.

Make sure that your chest is up and when your feet leave the ground your legs should be straight, you’re rolling your hips, and your toes are pointed. When you’re bringing your feet back together, make sure that your feet are all the way together and that there’s no space between your feet and that’s how to do a toe touch.
